Job summary

GDI, Inc. is seeking a part-time General Cleaner to join our team at a food manufacturing facility in Mattoon, IL. The shift runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with duties including cleaning restrooms, breakrooms, dusting and trash removal, and general sweeping and mopping.

Applicants should be able to work with others, follow supervisor instructions, and have reliable transportation. Steel-toed shoes may be required and work may involve hot conditions. GDI, Inc.

Qualifications

• Experience with cleaning commercial buildings is a plus, but not required.
• Able to work with other crew members and listen to supervisor instructions.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work in hot conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean of a food manufacturing facility and related areas.
• Clean restrooms, breakrooms, dusting, trash removal; sweep, mop and vacuum.
• Adhere to safety and customer requests; wear steel-toed shoes where applicable.
