Job summary

GDI, Inc. is hiring for a full-time janitorial position in Charleston, WV. The role runs Monday through Friday, 3pm to 11pm, cleaning commercial facilities and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

You will work with a crew to dust, mop, sweep, and sanitize restrooms, restock supplies and dispose of waste. Experience is a plus but not required; reliable transportation is needed to commute to sites across the area.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning commercial buildings is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to work effectively with other crew members.
• Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces.
• Empty trash and replace garbage bags.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Restock supplies as needed.
• Follow established safety procedures and guidelines.
