OnPoint Building Services in Virginia Beach is seeking an Evening Cleaner to maintain a clean, healthy office environment. This part-time role offers a steady schedule, Monday through Friday, 5:30pm to 8:30pm, located in the Town Center area.

You will perform trash collection, vacuuming, dusting, surface disinfection, restroom restocking, and general office cleaning, all while following safety guidelines and quality standards to satisfy client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Trash collection and disposal from small and large cans.
• Vacuuming floors with upright or backpack vacuums.
• Dusting all surfaces and fixtures.
• Wiping and disinfecting surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
• Sweeping and mopping floors as needed.
• Restroom cleaning, restocking supplies, and replenishment.
• Cleaning of office areas and workspaces.
• Ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and to quality standards.
• Adhering to safety guidelines and customer service expectations.
• Performing other janitorial duties as needed.

Shift: Monday- Friday 5:30pm-8:30pm

General Purpose:

Ensuring the accurate and timely cleaning of a commercial office facility. You will need a clean background check and the ability to pass a drug screen.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collection and disposal of trash (small and large cans).
• Vacuuming (upright and vacuum backpack).
• Dusting.
• Wiping and disinfecting surfaces.
• Sweeping.
• Mopping.
• Restroom cleaning, restocking, and replenishing.
• Office area cleaning.
• Ensures timely completion of assigned cleaning area(s) according to schedule.
• Follows safety guidelines, quality standards, and ensures customer service expectations are met.
• Performs other janitorial duties as needed.

Qualifications/Education/Work Experience:

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation to job location.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

• Position requires bending, twisting, lifting (up to 25 pounds), stretching, reaching, and standing for extended periods of time.
