Ridges at Peoria Senior Living in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Certified Caregiver for the evening shift. The part-time, onsite role focuses on daily resident care, medication assistance, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment.

Ideal candidates have state/federal caregiving qualifications and some home care experience. The position offers competitive pay and benefits, with opportunities for development within a well-established community.

Formación

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for caregiving.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and mobility.
• Assist with moving residents using safe techniques and equipment as needed.
• Communicate incident reports and changes in resident condition to a supervisor promptly.
• Support residents to walk with or without devices as instructed and encourage participation in activities.
• Respond to resident needs and requests for care in a timely, respectful manner.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ emotional state to the nurse.
• Follow infection control practices and safety guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain documentation of medication administration and effects as required.
