Job summary
A leading entertainment company in St. Louis is seeking a Casino Barback to provide excellent customer service and assist bartenders. Candidates should be at least 21 years old, able to move heavy items, and familiar with liquor, beer, and wine. The role involves evening shifts from 6pm-4am on weekends, with a pay rate of $9 per hour plus tips. Benefits include medical coverage from day one and tuition reimbursement among others.
Qualifications
Applicant must be at least 21 years of age.
Familiarity and product knowledge of liquor, beer and wine preferred.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with guests.
Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification. (ServSafe Alcohol)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
Responsibilities
Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service.
Adheres to established departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
Sets up bars for operation; cuts fruit; stocks ice; empties garbage.
Supports bartender needs; ices drink glasses and pours non-alcoholic drinks as needed.
Wipes counter areas, sinks, and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe workstation.
Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards.
Maintains par stock levels and orders bar supplies as necessary; delivers orders.
Maintains equipment as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures; reports any maintenance problems to manager.
Removes and properly disposes of all refuse and debris accumulated in restaurant and service stations in accordance with departmental procedures; sorts bottles and corrugated cardboard for recycling.
Resolves service issues according to established guidelines.
Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
