Job summary

Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is hiring a full-time Case Aide for evening shifts in Elgin, IL. The role supports clients in substance use disorder services with case management and coordination with treatment professionals.

The position requires a high school diploma with preferred higher degrees in social services, and a valid IL driver’s license. Training, benefits, and advancement opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates, bachelors, or master's in a social service field preferred.
• Background check clearance required.
• Annual TB test required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in EHR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide whole-person services and case management support to clients in SUD services.
• Assist clients in achieving goals and coordinate with treatment professionals and community partners.
• Complete intake/discharge paperwork and other administrative tasks.
• Ensure adherence to timelines for documentation and program compliance.
• Maintain ethical conduct per NASW Code of Ethics.
