Job summary

Discovery Village Dominion in San Antonio, TX is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to enrich the lives of residents and provide hands-on personal care. You will support daily activities, assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, while maintaining a safe home-like environment.

This full-time role offers a 2pm-10pm schedule, weekend availability, competitive wages, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred if available
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred
• Strong communication with residents, team members, and leadership

Responsibilities

• Provide daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well-being
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas
• Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents
• Engage residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs
• Notify supervisor and/or health care coordinator if a resident has increased care needs
• Other duties as assigned
