Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a compassionate caregiver to assist an elderly male with ADLs, personal care, and community outings in a home setting. This is an independent contractor role paying $16.00 hourly with a 4pm–9pm schedule and flexible days.

The ideal candidate demonstrates patience, reliability, and a positive outlook, and holds a valid driver’s license plus pass a background check and have at least 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant training.

Qualifications

• Background screening required (Local and Level 2).
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant training.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support the individual during home activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensure safety and a safe living environment.
• Accompany the individual to social events and community outings.
• Promote communication, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.
