Qualifications

• Prior hands-on caregiving experience in personal care home, assisted living facility, nursing home, hospital, or home health setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• TB test (negative) required before starting.
• Health physical required and Georgia DCH background check must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Provide supervision, companionship, and support.
• Assist with evening meals and snacks.
• Administer medications as assigned and properly document them.
• Perform scheduled resident checks and maintain safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Complete assigned housekeeping duties.
• Follow resident care plans and facility policies.
• Document and report changes or concerns regarding residents.
• Maintain professional communication with residents, families, and staff.
