Job summary

Colonnades Assisted Living Center in Bay City, Michigan is seeking an Evening Shift Caregiver to provide compassionate, resident-centered care and support daily living activities.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, monitor progress, maintain accurate records, assist with mealtime, and ensure a safe, clean environment. Evening and weekend availability is preferred; prior long-term care experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in long-term care or gerontology preferred.
• Ability to lift and move residents and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of resident care and progress.
• Work closely with family members and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist with mealtime, including serving and feeding residents as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
