Job summary

Kendal at Oberlin’s Nursing Department is seeking a dynamic, compassionate Care Partner (CNA/STNA) for part-time, 24 hrs/wk, 3pm-11:30pm, to join an interdisciplinary team serving older adults in a life plan community.

The Care Partner provides high-quality, person-centered care, supports residents to maintain independence, follows individual care plans, and collaborates with residents, families and staff to create a warm, engaging environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Ohio STNA license in good standing.
• Must complete an approved nursing assistant program and pass Ohio exam.
• Able to bend, stoop, lift, and transfer residents weighing 50 to 250 pounds.
• Capable of clearly communicating with residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, person-centered care as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist residents in doing as much for themselves as possible.
• Provide care per individual care plans and maintain residents’ dignity.
• Offer a friendly, caring approach to residents, families, and staff.
