Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a dedicated full-time care assistant for the PM shift (2pm-10pm) with every other weekend in Cary, IL. You will help residents with daily living activities and ensure a safe, comfortable environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with grooming and bathing, transporting residents to activities, responding to emergencies, and following care plans while monitoring vital signs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• All state requirements must be met.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience with elderly population preferred.
• Calm, respectful demeanor appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Providing residents with assistance in activities of daily living such as grooming and bathing.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs.
