Job summary

Wedgwood Christian Services seeks an Evening Campus Supervisor (Part-Time) to lead the trauma-informed residential campus during evenings and weekends. You will guide staff across multiple homes, ensure safety, respond to crises, and maintain high standards of care for youth ages 10-18.

The role requires real-time leadership, collaboration with clinical and facilities teams, and mentoring to strengthen staff performance while upholding agency policies and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services) from an accredited college.
  • Alternative: Associate's degree with 3+ years in a Child Caring Institution (CCI).
  • Alternative: High School diploma with 4+ years in a CCI.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and real-time support to staff across 9 residential programs.
  • Perform routine rounds to monitor safety and program consistency.
  • Respond to crisis incidents and oversee risk management.
  • Serve as on-call administrative representative adhering to policies and licensing.
  • Support staff with incident reporting and program documentation.
  • Maintain organized campus records and logs of activity and responses.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, therapists, nurses, and leadership for coordinated care.
  • Coach and mentor direct care staff for performance and growth.
  • Assist in staff scheduling and adjust staffing based on acuity.
  • Maintain a safe, clean campus environment in collaboration with Facilities.
  • Contribute to policy development to support a therapeutic milieu.
  • Serve as a certified trainer (Aegis/CPR First Aid) and reinforce safety practices.
  • Support campus programming and youth engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute to trauma-informed care initiatives and youth advisory involvement.

Lead a Trauma-Informed Residential Campus

We are seeking an Evening Campus Supervisor to oversee operations across our residential campus during evening and weekend hours. In this role, you will provide real-time leadership, support staff across multiple homes, and respond to crisis situations to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for youth ages 10-18.

As a key leader on campus, you will serve as a consistent, supportive presence - guiding staff, reinforcing trauma-informed practices, and ensuring high standards of care across all programs.

Schedule
  • Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday), rotating 9am-5pm and 2pm-10pm
Compensation
  • $25-$27 hourly
  • Time-and-a-half pay for hours worked on holidays
  • Employer-paid training and re-certification
What You'll Do

Working across our residential campus, you will:

  • Provide leadership and real-time support to staff in 9 residential programs
  • Make routine rounds (in-person and by phone) to monitor safety, support staff, and ensure program consistency
  • Respond to and oversee crisis situations, including behavioral incidents, injuries, and risk management concerns
  • Serve as the on-call administrative representative, ensuring adherence to agency policies, procedures, and licensing requirements
  • Support staff with documentation, including incident reports and required program records
  • Maintain accurate and organized records related to campus activity, crisis response, and communication logs
  • Collaborate with Home Supervisors, therapists, nursing staff, and leadership to ensure coordinated care
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship to direct care staff to strengthen performance and professional growth
  • Assist in staff scheduling oversight and support staffing adjustments based on program needs and acuity levels
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning campus environment in collaboration with Facilities staff
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that support a therapeutic milieu
  • Serve as a certified trainer (Aegis and/or CPR/First Aid) and reinforce best practices in safety and crisis intervention
  • Support campus-wide programming, activities, and youth engagement efforts
  • Contribute to initiatives aligned with trauma-informed care, including the 6 Core Strategies and youth advisory involvement
Background & Qualifications

Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services, or similar) from an accredited undergraduate college, and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a CCI (Child Caring Institution)
    • -or- an Associate's degree and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a CCI (Child Caring Institution)
    • -or- a High School diploma and a minimum or four (4) Years of experience in a CCI (Child Caring Institution)
  • Strong knowledge of residential treatment and youth care practices
  • Ability to lead, support, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Valid driver's license
  • Alignment with Wedgwood's Statement of Faith, vision, and values
Preferred Experience
  • Leadership or supervisory experience in residential or behavioral health settings
  • Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
  • Background working with youth-serving programs or multidisciplinary teams
