Job summary

BlueGreen Alliance Inc is seeking a 2nd Shift Bulk Milk Receiving Operator to unload raw milk trucks, separate milk, and transfer it into tanks. You will hook hoses from trucks to tanks and support overall milk handling operations on a 2pm to 10pm shift with rotational weekends and holidays.

The role requires attention to safety, GMP compliance, and accuracy in measuring and recording data. Applicants should be able to lift up to 55 lbs and thrive in a team-oriented production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to read, record, and communicate data in English.
• Flexible schedule, including overtime and varying shifts as needed.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL-A with tanker endorsement preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 55 lbs.
• Capable of extended physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with PPE and GMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Unload raw milk trucks and transfer it to holding tanks.
• Operate milk processing equipment and separation technology.
• Perform documented Quality Tests on the raw milk in accordance with regulatory guidelines before unloading.
• Track milk loads and record results.
• Assist in the internal transport of milk to Open Gates facilities when needed.
• Perform sanitation and clean-up duties to maintain food safety and operational efficiency.
• Assist with internal product transfers as required.
• Maintain quality standards in accordance with State and Federal regulatory requirements.
• Stay current with required processing technology and separation equipment operation.
• Uphold, support, and promote all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support successful business operations.
• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, are required.
