Responsibilities

• Prepare platelet products meeting FDA and AABB safety and potency requirements.
• Sample and test QC samples as part of the workflow.
• Uphold customer service standards to meet patient and CBC staff needs.
• Enter data and configure components for product labeling and release.
• Perform inventory, labeling, quarantine, and discard activities as required.
• Maintain accurate records and perform routine quality control tasks.
• Respond quickly to alarms and participate in problem solving and corrections.
