Job summary

Pedal Pub in Baton Rouge is hiring part-time Bike Tour Guides (Pilots) to lead 1–2 hour tours of local bars, pubs, and sights with a fun, engaging style.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, checking in, leading tours, capturing photos, and keeping bikes clean; you must be 21+, have a valid license, and be willing to work nights and weekends. Training wage starts at $10/hr, then $15–$18/hr plus tips.

Qualifications

• Shows up to work on time and is reliable.
• Must work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record (max 3 violations in last 3 years) and clean criminal record check with no offenses within last 5 years per city requirements for PedalPub drivers.
• Ability to obtain city-required Operator Permit ID for PedalPub drivers (∼$61 fee reimbursed after training).
• Comfortable being authoritative when needed.
• Ability to create and stick to a schedule. Enjoys outdoors and being interactive.
• Successful completion of our Pilot Certification Program.

Responsibilities

• Safely navigate customers on routes.
• Greet customers and complete customer check-in process.
• Assist customers with merchandise purchases.
• Ensure bikes are clean, and maintenance checks done prior to tour.
• Follow policies, procedures and traffic laws.
• Promptly report issues to supervision.
• Assist customers during their tour.
• Snap good group pics and video.
