This full-time role offers evenings and provides hands-on support to promote independence and daily living skills. The position focuses on safety, well-being, and structured environments, with responsibilities including behavior management, documentation, and basic care.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• At least 1 year of work experience or self-employment.
• Valid unrestricted driver’s license; ability to obtain and maintain a class E MO driver’s license by end of 60-day introductory period.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support residents in building life skills, routines, and social behaviors.
• Assist with rehabilitation and behavior support programs.
• Monitor and document changes in behavior, mood, or physical condition.
• Provide basic care, such as taking vital signs and assisting with personal needs.
• Administer medication once certified as a Level 1 Medication Aide (training provided).
• Transport clients to appointments and community activities (driving is required).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
• Participate in emergency response and safety procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time.
