Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an RN for Behavioral Health in Vallejo, CA. The contract, in-office position requires an active RN license, BLS, and preferably CPI, which can be obtained on-site. A minimum of one year of psychiatric experience is preferred.

The program supports a 3 pm–11:30 pm shift (5 x 8s, no set days) with weekends roughly every other. The facility emphasizes comprehensive psychiatric care across age groups.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Psych experience is preferred; CPI knowledge is an asset and may be obtained on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care per established standards and nursing process.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team to provide a safe, healing environment.
• Provide education to patients and families and the treatment team.
