Job summary

Ventura Foods in Wisconsin on-site is seeking a production operator who will mix finished products according to formulas, monitor production needs, and keep filing areas stocked with finished goods.

You will operate deck setup, use Local Control Panel to add ingredients, transfer batches to lines, provide samples to QC, and document batch details. The role requires basic math, reading skills, and GMP knowledge; training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or related experience in food processing.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English to select materials per batch sheets.
• Read, interpret and execute SOPs for safe production.
• Reading and math skills to verify quantities and add ingredients accurately.
• Strong understanding of GMP for food safety.
• Operate forklift, scales and Local Control Panel (LCP).

Responsibilities

• Prepare product according to formulas and keep filing areas stocked with finished product.
• Deck set-up for daily schedule and operate equipment to aid in processing formulas; keep equipment clean.
• Use Local Control Panel (LCP) to add ingredients and transfer batches to lines or portable equipment.
• Provide product samples to Quality Control for testing and approval for packing.
• Document adjustments and record batches, ingredients and lot numbers.
• Close lines with water at end of daily run and maintain housekeeping.
• Perform other non-routine duties as assigned.
