Sittercity.com is seeking a regular babysitter for our 2-year-old daughter in New York, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, starting on October 15, 2026.

We may adjust hours occasionally, but the four weekly hours remain consistent. Responsibilities include picking up from daycare, feeding dinner, and engaging in play, with occasional light housekeeping and laundry. Comfort with pets is required and an upbeat, energetic approach is preferred.

Job description

We are looking for a a regular babysitter for our 2yo daughter a couple nights a week - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, starting on October 15, 2026. We may look to add on more hours some evenings or switch days from time to time, but would like these four hours on a regular basis.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Pick up from daycare and walk home across the street.
• Feeding dinner - we have prepackaged meals
• Engage in play - indoor or outdoor

We would love someone who can manage with a strong-willed high energy toddler and who can maybe do some educational activities with her (reading). We may occasionally ask for help with light housekeeping/laundry.
