Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is looking for a 2nd Shift Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Washington, DC. This role focuses on performing repairs and preventive maintenance on light and medium duty vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have two years of automotive repair experience, a complete set of hand tools, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. We offer competitive pay ranging from $22.00 to $45.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years hands-on experience or combination of trade school and hands-on experience.
• Must have the ability to perform preventive maintenance, diagnoses and repairs on autos and light trucks.
• Acceptable driving record and must pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to light and medium duty vehicles.
• Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer.
• Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation.
