Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation in Grantsburg, WI is seeking an Automatics Operator to operate, monitor, and adjust multi-spindle automatics and related equipment to produce quick coupling components per specifications. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include setup, tooling selection, and process adjustments, with opportunities to contribute improvements and participate in TPM and CAPA initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of machining experience preferred.
• Requires the use of complicated drawings, shop mathematics, handbook formulas and precision measuring instruments.
• Must be able to do tool grinding, sharpening and proper tool selection including insert grades and coatings.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.
• Competent in the use of computers.
• Parker will provide training for qualified applicant.
• Must have taken and passed Parker QCD Basic Shop Course.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.
• Use safety practices including PPE, BBS, and LOTO.
• Set-up, operate and adjust multi-spindle automatics, ISAMs, NoCAMS, and/or Hydromats
• Plan operational sequences; select spindle speeds, tooling, and settings for work.
• May suggest improvements for tooling to suit materials or unusual cutting conditions.
• Install tooling, set offsets, and adjust machine readings.
• Operate machines to produce pilot pieces for first piece verification and adjustments.
• Check parts for dimensional and finish conformance; remove and deburr as needed.
