Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is hiring 2nd Shift Assembly Associates in Anderson, SC. Pay starts at $16.00 per hour with similar $15.00–$17.00 per hour range for openings. Schedule features a 2nd shift: Mon–Thu 4:30 PM–3:00 AM and Fri 2:30 PM–7:30 AM as needed.

Responsibilities include assembling per specs, reading blueprints, tool use, and quality checks. Candidates should have 3+ years of assembly experience, a HS diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of general assembly experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must live within a 50-mile radius of Anderson, SC.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts.
• Basic math and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products accurately while following specifications and work instructions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and product specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and other assembly equipment.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications and tolerances.
• Operate a forklift to move and transport materials.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or product defects.
• Work independently and as part of a team to improve production processes.
