Job summary

St.Joseph Healthcare in Bangor, Maine, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join our collaborative anesthesia team. This unique 3:00 PM–11:00 PM schedule includes home call from 11:00 PM–7:00 AM and excludes OB, trauma, and cardiothoracic cases, focusing instead on General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Endoscopy.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Eligible for Maine medical licensure
• ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Endoscopy
• Collaborate with anesthesia team in a community hospital setting
• Maintain a predictable afternoon/evening schedule with home call after hours
