Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace seeks an Aircraft Painter I for the second shift at GAC Westfield in Massachusetts. You will prepare aircraft surfaces, mask and sand for paint, mix primers, and apply coatings while following safety and quality standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of painting experience; candidates must read blueprints and pass required respirator certification. This is a full-time, second-shift position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of painting experience.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Must pass Pulmonary Function Test / respirator certification.

Responsibilities

• Mask, sand, and prepare aircraft for paint application.
• Apply glazing and sealing compounds in preparation for final painting.
• Operate and maintain all types of preparation and priming equipment; mix paints and primers.
• Perform leading edge sealant work and final detail.
• Adhere to safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; use PPE and protect interior of aircraft.
