Job summary

Elizabethtown Community & Technical College seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Instructor to teach on-site, primarily at night, for a 10-month term (Aug-May). You will handle 15 credit hours per semester, advise students, and contribute to academic leadership and service initiatives within the Technical Division.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in an advanced manufacturing field, proficiency with Blackboard, and strong skills in automation, robotics, PLCs, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in an Advanced Manufacturing field (Electrical Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, or Industrial Maintenance Technology).
• Experience with Blackboard for communication, feedback, and course design.
• Proficiency in fluid power, automation, robotics, electrical concepts, and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and maintain records and progress.
• Provide current syllabi meeting college standards in a timely manner.
• Contribute to curriculum development and department planning.
• Advise and counsel students academically and career-wise.
• Participate in recruitment and retention activities.
• Serve on department/college committees and complete mandatory trainings.
• Foster relationships with local industry and maintain professional behavior.
• Maintain safety and professional standards in teaching environments.
