Job summary

Brigham Young University seeks an adjunct instructor to teach IAS 300: Professional Development in International Studies during the evening program. The successful candidate will deliver in-class lectures, assessments, and assignments and align with BYU faculty standards.

Required is a Master’s degree with completion by start date and experience in Career and Professional Development; 4+ years preferred, including student mentoring and curriculum adaptation for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required and must be completed by start date.
• Experience teaching Career and Professional Development skills.
• Preferred 4+ years of experience.
• Experience in student mentoring in Career Services.
• Ability to adapt curriculum to meet audience needs.
• Strong familiarity with course curriculum concepts.

Responsibilities

• Teach IAS 300: Professional Development in International Studies including lectures, assessments, and assignments.
• Maintain regular communication with the IAS Academic Program Director.
• Meet all standards outlined for faculty at Brigham Young University.
• Collaborate with Area Studies Coordinators as needed.
