MemorialCare is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse for our Emergency Department in Long Beach, CA. This full-time evening (12-hour) shift role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality ambulatory care under physician and RN supervision.

Qualified candidates will have at least one year of LVN experience, CA LVN licensure, and current CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. The position includes competitive pay and benefits within MemorialCare's patient-centered care model.

Qualifications

• One-year LVN experience preferred
• Experience giving injections and drawing blood
• Graduate from an accredited LVN program
• Current licensure to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in California
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care in ambulatory setting using the nursing process
• Cite subjective and objective data and contribute to patient care plans
• Assist with procedures and administer medications and IV fluids per protocol
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate medical records
• Educate patients and families about procedures, medications, and tests
• Support teaching of residents and medical students as needed
• Complete daily QA for laboratory testing and related tasks
