Job summary

The Woodford Agency in Evanston, IL seeks an experienced Nanny/Household Manager to support two school-age children and oversee household operations after school.

Schedule is Monday–Thursday 1:00 PM–8:00 PM (28 hours/week); compensation is $30–$35 per hour with PTO and paid holidays. Start date is immediate.

Responsibilities include school pickups, meal prep, light housekeeping, organizing belongings, coordinating vendors, and maintaining a smooth, well‑run home with discretion and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional nanny or household management experience.
• CPR / First Aid certification required.
• Experience caring for school-aged children.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• School pickups and transportation to activities and sports.
• Provide attentive after‑school care and supervision.
• Assist with homework and school‑related needs.
• Support children’s activities and sports schedules.
• Keep school bags, sports bags, and children’s belongings organized.
• Family laundry and linens.
• Meal prep assistance.
• Run household and child‑related errands.
• Light housekeeping and household organization.
• Coordinate household vendors, deliveries, and service appointments, including scheduling, access, communication, and follow‑up.
• Communicate with parents regarding children’s schedules, needs, and activities.
• Help maintain an organized, smoothly running household.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to provide additional support during school breaks and summer as needed, with advance notice.
