Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking an Evaluator to perform electrical testing and evaluation of transformers in a manufacturing setting. You will conduct visual inspections, electrical tests, document findings, and ensure safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1–3 years of transformer or related field experience, OSHA10 preferred, and proficiency with MS Office. You will collaborate with multiple departments and maintain accurate data for management reporting.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma/GED required.
  • Technical or Vocational school preferred.
  • Basic skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
  • 1-3 years of transformer experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of mechanical and/or electrical field experience preferred.
  • Material handling equipment experience (forklift, crane, etc.) preferred.
  • OSHA10 certification preferred.
  • Proven track record in safety excellence is required.
  • Adheres to all safety and environmental compliance regulations set by the organization. Notify management immediately of any safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or injuries.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders.
  • Meet evaluation goals assigned by supervisor.
  • Ensure product quality meets company and client expectations.
  • Possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, cooperative attitude, strong attention to detail and can work in a team environment.
  • Adheres to the company's employee handbook policies and embodies the organization's core values.
  • Ability to learn other department job functions and fill in as needed.
  • Complete company compliance and safety training when required.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Physical requirements: Lift 50lbs, standing/walking, bending, climbing ladders, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Complete virtual warehouse transactions.
  • Maintains internal quality standards and compliance with all safety factors.
  • Provide reporting and data metrics to management.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
  • Other assigned duties as needed.

  • Physical requirements for this role include, but are not limited to the following:
    • Lift 50lbs floor to waist and waist to shoulder multiple times
    • Standing and walking for long durations
    • Bending, squatting, and kneeling multiple times for long durations
    • The ability to climb up and down a ladder multiple times
    • Balance and stand on a ladder with three points of contact for extended periods of time
    • Comfortable working in the heat and cold due to manufacturing facilities not being climate controlled
