Job summary

RFCUNY Research Foundation of The City University of New York seeks an Evaluation Manager to support program evaluation measures, data management, and reporting. The role emphasizes statistical programming, data coding, literature research, and documentation to support NYCenter MPI and related PIs.

Candidates should have a Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field with substantial program evaluation experience and knowledge of SAS/SPSS; confidentiality and compliance with FERPA/HIPAA are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution and 3–6 years of program evaluation experience related to large NIH grants; OR
• Ph.D. in a relevant field with research/scholarship and 2+ years of program evaluation experience; OR
• Background in statistics with equivalent program evaluation experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and collaborate on programs to meet statistical and evaluation needs for NIH-funded projects.
• Provide consultation to community partners on data collection design and data management.
• Use SAS, SPSS and other essential software for core activities.
• Design data entry templates and develop coding manuals and dictionaries.
• Conduct preliminary data analysis and prepare programmatic reports.
• Document activities and populate data files with project team.
• Review database characteristics and implement approved changes.
• Protect confidentiality in line with FERPA/HIPAA.
