Job summary

Aebi Schmidt Group is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Technician in Miami, FL with strong 12V electrical skills and mechanical aptitude. Prior experience is a plus but not required as on-the-job training is provided.

You will assist lead installers, remove and reinstall vehicle components, install lightbars and interior lighting, and perform basic wiring while supporting fabrication of custom equipment. A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of 12V electrical systems.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to drill, modify brackets, and follow install procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• EVT or ASE certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead installers with emergency vehicle builds.
• Remove and reinstall vehicle components (bumpers, seats, trim, lights).
• Install push bumpers, cages, lightbars, lock boxes, and interior lights.
• Perform basic wiring, including crimping, splicing, and setting light patterns.
• Support fabrication and fitment of custom equipment.
