Job summary

A leading transit bus manufacturer in Livermore, CA is seeking a Validation Engineer to conduct system and vehicle design verification and production validation tests. The role involves developing DV/PV plans, executing test procedures, and collaborating across engineering teams to ensure compliance with safety standards. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry are required. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience within the Engineering industry.
• Experience in automotive and/or heavy-duty vehicle testing/validation.
• Knowledge of FMVSS, ADA, APTA Bus Procurement Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system and vehicle level design verification and production validation tests.
• Develop and release comprehensive DV/PV plans and reports.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for data analysis and testing activities.
