Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA seeks an engineer to drive powertrain calibration and validation across vehicle levels, coordinating with controls teams and suppliers. You will deliver feature calibrations on schedule, leveraging INCA, MATLAB/Simulink, and CAN/LIN knowledge.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in EV systems, model-based embedded software, and cross-functional collaboration, with fluent English and hands-on testing experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or controls engineering.
  • Experience in automotive calibration (EV or electrified powertrains preferred).
  • Strong understanding of EV systems (BMS, charging, thermal management, torque control).
  • Experience with vehicle system architecture and CAN/LIN communication.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electric powertrain calibration and validation activities at vehicle and component levels.
  • Own and deliver calibration for specific features with on-time, high-quality releases.
  • Supervise CAN/LIN communications at the vehicle level and flash control units.
  • Draft test reports and provide feedback at end of development phase.
  • Communicate test failures or delays to the validation engineer.
