Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to lead Commercial Land Development and EV Infrastructure initiatives in Minnesota. You will oversee complex, multi-discipline projects, manage schedules and budgets, and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating teams, developing project plans, tracking progress, and ensuring quality deliverables. Experience with utility interconnection, electrical design, and contracts is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Strong knowledge of utility service requirements and interconnection processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability for multiple EV Infrastructure projects and clients at once.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
• Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Develop and implement project plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
• Oversee project work and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Track project health and take corrective action when necessary.
• Manage uncertainty and change, such as scope creep and change orders.
• Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection.
• Support the electrical engineering aspects of EV Charging Facilities.
• Oversee the review of utility service/interconnection requirements for various utilities and manage the technical portions of service/interconnect applications for EV clients.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other project disciplines including civil engineers, geotechnical/structural engineers, and surveyors.
• Ability to conduct electrical engineering design and develop construction documents for EV projects.
