Job summary

Crash Champions is seeking skilled auto body professionals in Ohio to inspect damaged vehicles and plan efficient repairs. You will coordinate with the team, perform high-quality work, and decide between repair and replacement based on safety and cost.

You will also handle disassembly and restoration tasks, supervise apprentices, and participate in safety meetings. Ideal candidates have body repair certification, I-CAR welding credentials, and the ability to read measuring data.

Qualifications

• Certification in body repair is preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification is preferred.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process.
• Communicate repair status with team during work.
• Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
• Decide on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, wiring, and trim to access areas.
• Participate in safety meetings.
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
• Direct apprentice and explain procedures as needed.
