Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho is seeking a senior leader to head our EUV/photolithography equipment engineering team. You will set performance targets aligned with fab output, yield, and cost, and drive optimization across equipment, processes, and analytics.

You will leverage AI‑assisted tools for diagnostics, enable predictive maintenance, and mentor a multi‑disciplinary group to continuously improve reliability and throughput in a fast‑paced semiconductor fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years photolithography semiconductor experience, or 10+ years direct photolithography experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams in manufacturing.
• Experience in equipment performance optimization and root cause analysis in a fab setting.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes including EUV lithography toolsets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an elite EUV/photolithography equipment engineering team with targets on fab output, yield, and cost.
• Drive manufacturing optimization through equipment performance improvements, yield enhancement, throughput maximization, and cost reduction using data‑driven methods.
• Partner cross‑functionally across Manufacturing, TD, ATE, Procurement, Facilities and globally to deploy best‑known methods and support tool lifecycle activities.
• Leverage AI‑enabled analytics to improve equipment performance, enable predictive maintenance, and accelerate root cause analysis.
• Foster safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement while engaging suppliers to achieve benchmark equipment availability.
