Job summary

Promotive in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Automotive Technician for an independent Mercedes-Benz shop. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, perform electrical work, suspensions, drivability diagnostics, and road test results to ensure accurate repair plans and client satisfaction.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with no weekends, and pay ranges from $25 to $50 per hour. Benefits include paid vacation, medical insurance, uniforms, and a SIMPLE plan with employer match.

Qualifications

• European automotive experience required.
• Repair experience at C-Level, B-Level, or A-Level appropriate.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform repairs beyond basic maintenance.
• Willingness to continue developing repair and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial vehicle evaluations and diagnostics to develop repair plans.
• Utilize Mercedes-Benz diagnostic equipment and service bulletins to diagnose and repair concerns.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including testing and replacement.
• Perform suspension rebuilds and setup.
• Perform mechanical repairs and overhauls of driveline units and components.
• Complete automotive maintenance and drivability diagnostics.
• Road test vehicles to evaluate repair results and identify additional concerns.
• Support shop workflow by completing assigned repairs accurately and efficiently.
