Vanderlande is seeking a Finance Team Lead Tax & Compliance Europe to lead the European Tax & Compliance team. You will drive tax governance, compliance across multiple countries, and support business initiatives with practical tax guidance.

Lead a team, coordinate corporate income tax, VAT and transfer pricing, and partner with Group Tax, Legal, Treasury and Finance to strengthen controls and standardize processes across Europe. Fluent English and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in tax, tax compliance, or related finance function in an international environment.
• Experience leading, coaching, or coordinating a team.
• Strong knowledge of corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, and general tax compliance.
• Experience with tax authorities, auditors, external advisors.
• Experience with process improvement and standardization initiatives.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• Lead Europe Tax & Compliance team and provide guidance.
• Oversee day-to-day tax compliance activities across Europe.
• Coordinate corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax activities with local teams.
• Support transfer pricing compliance and documentation requirements.
• Act as a key contact for tax authorities, auditors, and external advisors.
• Identify and manage tax risks; escalate issues as needed.
• Translate changes in tax legislation into practical guidance for the business.
• Maintain and improve tax controls, documentation, and compliance processes.
• Drive standardization and process improvements across European tax activities.
• Build strong relationships with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Treasury, and Payroll.
