We are hiring a Sales Account Manager, Lab Chemicals. The Sales Account Manager, Lab Chemicals is responsible for sales and support of FUJIFILM Wako Lab Chemicals products in their region. Sales which may Responsibilities include but is not limited to, customer visits, obtaining market information, receiving, and answering inquiries, providing technical product information, receiving orders, price quotations, promotion of products, maintaining product inventories, product purchasing, product sales, invoicing and receipt of payments, negotiations with customers, vendors, and other departments of the company.

Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Achieve assigned target for Lab Chemicals products in their assigned region
  • Provide Lab Chemicals sales support to Bioscience Account Managers, Distribution and Global Strategic Account Teams by attending customer meetings, tradeshows and workdays
  • Identify new opportunities at local Global Strategic Account locations
  • Identify non-Global Strategic Accounts that have potential to reach revenue levels for Lab Chemicals products over
  • Help train distributor partners on how to place and sell Lab Chemicals products
  • Must maintain professional and courteous communications, which may be via telephone, email, fax or physical visit, with customers, vendors, Wako Japan, Wako Germany and other Wako USA departments.
  • Follow process on entering opportunities into CRM and keeping information correct and up to date
  • Provide information to internal teams on customer feedback, market updates and competitor information
  • Receive and promptly respond to customer inquiries which may include technical questions when needed.
  • Issue price quotations.
  • Successfully negotiates and maintains sales agreements and contracts
  • Establish and carry out sales strategies, action plans and sales/expense plan.
  • Follow-up on sales/sample inquiries.
  • Plan and carry out sales promotions.
  • Employee is expected to successfully perform sales presentations which contain technical data and information to current and/or potential customers
  • Plan business trips using economical means for transportation and reservations.
  • Regularly attend meetings and prepare reports.
  • Ability to travel is required in order to attend Trade Shows, Conference Meetings, and to visit customers.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license in order to perform these travel duties.
  • Must be able to remain in a designated location for prolonged time periods for participation in Trade Shows.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment while making business decisions on behalf of the Lab Chemicals Department.
  • Requires independent judgment, creativity, and self-motivation.
  • Must be well organized and have strong relationship building skills and the ability to self-manage their time and travel schedule.
  • Employee is expected to plan, prepare, and coordinate, regional trade show exhibits and promotional literature pertinent to the department's products.
  • The position adheres to the policies, procedures, practices and work schedule necessary to conduct normal function of a sales office and performs in a professional manner in reporting and communicating with the Upper Manager.
  • Proven ability to define markets with the highest product sales opportunities and the ability to create sales opportunities.
  • Proven ability to evaluate statistical data concerning profit and loss of customer revenues.
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • This position requires disciplined organizational skills, ability to efficiently prioritize, multitask, and accomplish goals within deadlines.
Required Skills/Education
  • BS degree or appropriate industry experience in a technical, scientific, or business discipline
  • Knowledge and continuing education in regulatory areas.
  • 5-10 years of sales experience within the field.
  • Sales management experience is desired.
  • A consistent track record in achieving sales targets is required.
  • Intermediate to high level of sales and marketing techniques in a technical environment.

Salary and Benefits
  • The base salary range for this position is £53,720.10-£63.952.50. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
