Job summary

ConServe in Fairport, NY seeks an Applications Analyst II to support its ETL/SSIS development and application analytics. The role blends development, testing and user enablement with ongoing operations and reporting, in a hybrid office setting.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, developing apps, mentoring teammates, training users and delivering ad-hoc reports. Requires 3+ years in apps dev, C#/.NET and SQL expertise, plus eligibility for security clearance.

Qualifications

3+ years in an applications development or configuration software role.
ETL/SSIS experience strongly preferred.
C# console application and .NET development experience preferred.
Strong SQL experience creating and maintaining stored procedures preferred.
Experience with Cisco Tidal or other similar automated scheduling tools preferred.
Ability to multitask and work independently to resolve problems.
Good verbal and interpersonal skills.
Must show urgency and perform under pressure.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
Must be able to provide on-call support.
Must be able to work remote in a home office environment; telework.
Secure internet connection and private work area.
U.S. Citizenship or lawful Permanent Resident with 3+ years of permanent residence; ability to obtain Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Recommends technical solutions to reported problems and weighs pros/cons.
Troubleshoots production issues, finds root cause and implements resolutions.
Collaborates with sponsors to understand business objectives and implement solutions.
Creates, enhances and maintains custom and COTS applications.
Plans, develops, tests and installs systems to enable new business lines.
Mentors team members on keep-it-running processes.
Trains users on new/modified applications.
Ensures data integrity and system synergy across devices.
Tests software solutions and modifies code/configuration as needed.
Provides end-user guidance and generates ad-hoc reports.
Writes and maintains functional/technical specifications.
Maintains programming guidelines per SDLC and enforces confidentiality.
Supports PPMS compliance and company policies.
Other duties as assigned.
