Job summary

Leidos is seeking an ETL Developer to design, implement, and optimize NiFi-based data pipelines for large-scale enterprise data lakes. You will work in a DevOps framework to deliver robust, secure data flows across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with NiFi, Java or Python, and integrating with databases and messaging services, along with a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance. Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience is typical.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 2+ years.
• Experience designing, developing, and managing NiFi data flow solutions in large-scale environments.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python; REST API integration and scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise NiFi data pipelines for large-scale ingestion and transformation.
• Tune performance, manage memory, and optimize NiFi data flows for batch and real-time processing.
• Diagnose and resolve complex data flow issues and bottlenecks.
• Integrate NiFi with databases, cloud services (AWS/Azure/OCI), and messaging systems (Kafka, S3, SQS/SNS).
• Document architectures, flows, and operating procedures for knowledge transfer.
