OptechUs in Auburn Hills, Michigan is seeking an experienced ETL Informatica Developer to support small projects and collaborate with team members. The role requires 5+ years of experience in ETL development and excellent interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Informatica PowerCenter and a history of working with clients to review requirements. The position offers the opportunity to work on diverse technologies in a dynamic banking environment.
Requirements—5+ years of experience with ETL Informatica, experience collecting design specs, seasoned developer (lead not required), testing, discussing defects, estimating task completion, proactive to identify design issues, experience working with clients to review requirements and discuss potential issues.
Current Environment—Informatica PowerCenter 9.5 (9.x experience required), Power Exchange, Data Validation (used by analytics, may be used by this team in the future), database client—DB2, TOAD (future), IBM Data Studio.
Soft Skills—Good interpersonal skills, analytical skills, self‑starter, easily adapt to change.
Potential Challenges—Coming up to speed, understanding dynamics of the team/company, if they’ve worked in a large company where there’s a lot of red tape they can be comfortable.
Exciting Items About Role—Support fairly small projects, get to touch a lot of other technologies and work with other members in the bank, work with BAs, attend ETL design meetings (once a week).
