IV.AI is seeking a skilled ETL Engineer to own data pipelines, enabling analytics and AI workflows across a distributed team. You will connect client data sources, keep warehouses clean, and support our platform with robust ETL/ELT design.

The role requires 4+ years in software or data engineering, strong Python, Snowflake, BigQuery, and PostgreSQL experience, plus cloud familiarity. Remote-friendly, cross-time-zone collaboration is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of software or data engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience extracting from and integrating with Snowflake.
• Proficiency with BigQuery and PostgreSQL.
• Strong Python skills and experience connecting to APIs/SaaS data sources.
• Experience building modular, maintainable codebases.
• Familiarity with GCP or similar cloud infrastructure.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and third‑party SaaS integrations.
• Lead data extraction and transformation strategy from Snowflake environments with schema standards and data quality criteria.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to define data contracts and schema standards.
• Design and implement alerting and observability for data pipelines on GCP with SLOs, thresholds, and dashboards.
• Own data quality by writing validation logic and proactively solving issues before production.
• Be involved in the full software lifecycle from design through deployment.

IV.AI is looking for a skilled ETL Engineer to join our data team, reporting to the VP of Engineering. You’ll own the pipelines that move and transform data across our platform - connecting client data sources, keeping our warehouses clean, and enabling the analytics and AI workflows our products depend on. We’re a distributed team that works collaboratively across time zones - not quite remote-first, but pretty close.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across BigQuery, PostgreSQL, and third-party SaaS integrations

• Design and lead data extraction and transformation strategy from Snowflake environments, exercising independent technical judgment to establish schema standards, transformation logic, and data quality criteria supporting downstream analysis and product use cases

• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to define data contracts and schema standards

• Design and implement the alerting and observability strategy for data pipelines on GCP - defining SLOs, alert thresholds, and dashboards, and setting up the monitoring stack to support them

• Own data quality - write validation logic, catch issues, problem solve and design solutions before they reach production

• Be involved in the full software lifecycle from design through deployment

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree

• 4+ years of software or data engineering experience

• Hands-on experience extracting from and integrating with Snowflake

• Proficiency with BigQuery and PostgreSQL

• Strong Python skills and comfort connecting to third-party APIs and SaaS data sources

• Experience building atomic, modular codebases

• Familiarity with GCP or similar cloud infrastructure

Nice to Have

• Experience with Airflow, Polars, Parquet, or Spark

• Familiarity with dbt or similar transformation tools

• Interest in the NLP/AI space

• Comfort in a fast-moving startup environment
