Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced ETL Developer for a top financial services client. You will develop code using ETL tools such as Informatica and SQL as part of the transformation from Informatica-based applications to proprietary SQL/Python platforms.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of ETL experience, strong communication, and a background in data warehousing, data modeling, Oracle/PLSQL, and Linux scripting, with a preference for Python and Airflow.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an ETL Developer.
• Strong experience with Informatica Development and SQL/Python (60/40 SQL).
• Proficient Python experience.
• Data warehousing, data mart, and data modeling expertise.
• Oracle experience; Exadata is a plus.
• PL/SQL and Linux scripting experience.

Insight Global is looking for an ETL Developer for one of our top financial services clients. This individual will be joining a team within the Enterprise Risk and Finance Technology space. In the role, this individual will be responsible for developing code using ETL tools such as Informatica and SQL as part of the technology transformation process from Informatica based applications to proprietary SQL/Python based applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in the financial industry within the last 3-4 years. The candidate needs to be a hungry, self-starter individual who is willing and wanting to learn on a growing team. Candidate must have very strong communication skills.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years of experience as an ETL Developer
• Strong experience with BOTH Informatica Development and SQL/Python (60/40 SQL)
• Python Experience
• Data Warehousing / Data Mart / Data Modeling Experience
• Oracle Experience (Exadata is a plus)
• PL/SQL and Linux Scripting Experience

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong preference for hands-on Python Scripting Experience (specifically with Airflow)
