Job summary

TechDigital Group seeks a veteran Data Architect to lead enterprise data warehouse design, data modeling and integration. You will collaborate with development teams to extract data from source applications and load it into a centralized warehouse, ensuring accuracy and performance.

The role requires deep Insurance/reinsurance domain experience, expertise with Guidewire applications, and strong SQL Server/DB2 skills to support analytics and reporting across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data architecture and design for enterprise data warehouses.
• 3+ years in Insurance and reinsurance domain.
• Advanced data extraction from Insurance applications.
• Experience with SQL Server, DB2 and other RDBMS.
• Knowledge of Guidewire applications (Policy Center and Claims Center).

Responsibilities

• Architect and design comprehensive enterprise data warehouse solutions sourcing data from multiple insurance systems.
• Design and implement source-to-target mappings for high-volume data integration.
• Create logical and physical data models and implement on SQL Server platforms.
• Develop SQL Server views for reporting and dashboard development.
• Tune SQL and Informatica mappings and stored procedures for performance.
• Lead data discovery sessions with business SMEs and support reporting teams.

Job Description:

• 10+ years of data architecture and design experience working with development team to extract data directly from source applications and loading to an enterprise data warehouse.
• 3+ years of experience within the Insurance and reinsurance domain.
• Advanced experience with extracting data from Insurance applications.
• Extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL and BI Architectures, concepts, and frameworks.
• Capable of creating and tuning Semantic layer Reporting Views.
• Capable of facilitating data discovery sessions involving business subject matter experts.
• Knowledge of RDBMS platforms (SQL Server, DB2, etc.) with experience in generating DDL.
• Possess knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center, Guidewire Claims Center, SAP FS-CDSAP FI-GL applications.
• Architect and design comprehensive solutions for the enterprise data warehouse. Sourcing data from multiple Insurance and Reinsurance Policy, Treaty, Claim and financial systems.
• Design and implement Source to Target mappings optimized for high-volume data integration.
• Create logical and physical data models and implement them on SQL Server platforms.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate translation of mappings into code.
• Develop strategies for data collection and ingestion and write SQL based solutions to validate data accuracy and integrity in the data warehouse.
• Analyze and design enterprise data models for optimal reporting. Support reporting teams in understanding and utilizing the data warehouse model effectively.
• Participate in release planning and validate changes post-deployment.
• Develop SQL Server views for reporting and dashboard development. Troubleshoot and optimize SQL and Informatica mappings and stored procedures.
