Job summary

Noblis is seeking a fully cleared Data Engineer with a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Reston team in Virginia. You will design and implement data pipelines, manage data movement, and support critical national security missions using Python-based ETL workflows.

The role emphasizes data extraction, transformation, and loading across multiple environments, dashboard development with Tableau/Power BI, and collaboration with data scientists and cyber analysts in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• Experience with ETL development for data pipelines (cyber data) including data cleansing and preparation for analytics.
• Proficient in data warehousing, data management, programming (Python), and ETL tools (NiFi, Pentaho, Kafka).
• Experience designing and deploying dashboards with Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Experience with cloud environments (GCP, AWS) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• U.S. Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute data extraction pipelines across multiple environments.
• Engineer Python-based ETL pipelines to ingest, clean, and optimize large datasets from diverse sources.
• Apply Python and SQL for data cleaning, integration, and exploratory analysis to derive insights.
• Design and deploy interactive dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Optimize SQL queries to improve data handling performance.
• Load data into databases or data warehouses and manage data infrastructure (NiFi, Pentaho, Hevo).
• Document ETL workflows and data movement; work in an Agile environment.
