Job summary

ManTech in Chantilly, VA seeks an ETL Developer to design, build, and optimize large-scale data ingest and processing solutions in a Big Data environment. You will enable reliable data pipelines supporting analytic and operational needs across the data lifecycle.

The role requires hands-on Java development, SQL/database work, and ETL tasks in Linux. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of data engineering or software development experience.
• Experience with Java development, data analysis/parsing, and SQL/database experience.
• Experience with the full data lifecycle in a Big Data environment.
• Experience with Java technologies (JDK/J2EE/EJB/JDBC/Spring) and RESTful APIs.
• Experience developing ETL tasks in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing large-scale ingest systems in a Big Data environment.
• Optimizing data lifecycle stages from ingest to display and beyond.
• Designing and implementing data extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, and replication.
• Developing custom solutions to ingest and exploit new data sources.
• Collaborating with sponsor teams to improve application performance.
• Maintaining documentation so others can use it.
• Working with teams, vendors, and users to improve methods.
