Job summary

AfterQuery is hiring philosophers as contractors to author and grade argument analysis and ethical reasoning scenarios used to test model judgment. You’ll craft scenarios, provide reference answers with explicit premises and inferences, and assess model responses for validity and fairness.

This fully remote, asynchronous role requires an advanced philosophy degree and at least two years of teaching, research, or publications.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in philosophy or closely related field.
• 2+ years of teaching, research, or published philosophical work.
• Depth in ethics, epistemology, logic, or philosophy of mind.

Responsibilities

• Author philosophical scenarios that test argument analysis and ethical reasoning
• Write reference answers with the argumentative structure made explicit
• Grade model output for validity, soundness, and fair treatment of objections
• Flag reasoning that sounds profound but equivocates or begs the question

Skills

Clear written English for constructing

Education

Advanced degree in philosophy or closely related field
