Job summary

Lam Research in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an experienced finance leader for the Etch product group. You will drive visibility into cost structures, gross margin, and profitability drivers, partnering with the business to identify cost-reduction opportunities and support pricing decisions.

In this role you’ll mentor an offshore team, build advanced financial models, and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or business-related field plus 8+ years’ experience; MBA/CPA/CFA/CA/CMA preferred with 6+ years’ experience.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, dashboards, and data visualization.
Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to partner across levels.

Responsibilities

Develop pricing, cost, and margin insights to support forecasts and planning.
Drive gross margin visibility by analyzing mix, costs, pricing, and margins.
Ensure pricing, cost, and margin data are accurate and delivered on time for reporting and audits.
Mentor offshore team to strengthen execution and deliverables.
Build financial models, ROI analyses, and scenario planning for investments.
Leverage analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve forecast accuracy and decision speed.
Support audits and compliance activities.
Cultivate cross-functional relationships to identify growth opportunities and cost savings.
